New AMS for Martin Jetpack
11 November 2015
This month, MACL is rolling out its new Aircraft Maintenance Software program. Traditional paper-based CAA logbooks are being replaced with an integrated system that allows us to produce, maintain and provide after sales support in a manner consistent with aviation standards (in particular Parts 148 and Parts 145). The Canadian company who produce the software (AMS) have over two hundred aviation companies using their software to support the operations of aircraft. Special customisations were conducted last week, during the week-long in-house training, whereby the system was set up to allow our future customers to access maintenance data about their aircraft from anywhere in the world, including on their tablet or mobile phone. MACL will be able to forecast when any aircraft in the fleet globally, is due for maintenance or requires fault rectification.
