PETER COKER, CHIEF EXECUTIVE AND MANAGING DIRECTORpeter coker 2x3

Peter Coker joined Martin Aircraft Company as CEO in April 2013. A former senior officer in the Royal Air Force, he has amassed over 5,000 flying hours and was a qualified flying and weapons instructor with substantial policy and procurement experience. He commanded both a squadron and station. More recently, Peter was General Manager of Lockheed Martin (NZ) and Business Development Director for Asia Pacific for a Lockheed Martin Business Unit.

Peter has served as a Director on Boards and is a member of the Institute of Directors. He is also a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Management, Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and The Honourable Company of Air Pilots.

ULRICH BERGLER, HEAD OF ENGINEERING

BE equivalent engineering degree in precision engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, MSc in Applied Psychology

Ulrich has many years of experience in product development and commercialisation and has specialised in product testing and reliability. Prior to joining  Martin Aircraft Company, he held a variety of management roles with Hilti, Dynamic Controls and Design Line.


James WestJAMES WEST, CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

James is a qualified Chartered Accountant and brings an immense amount of experience to the Company having worked as Financial Controller and Operations Manager through to CEO/CFO in other organisations from small to large companies.

Michael has a strong international background and experience in sales and marketing having worked as General/Regional Manager - Asia Pacific for Air Charter International and as International Marketing Manager for Airways International.

More recently, Michael worked as General Manager Europe for Climate Friendly UK Limited where he successfully led several multinational bid teams in multi-million dollar procurement processes to secure major high value clients.
